      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

  1. Move Elsweyr Anequina to Seperate Worldspace??

Doing that would require permission from Illiana I think, but she doesn't visit the forums much these days.
  2. Sid Meier's Civilization Discussion

I see. Why I ask is, because after I bought the BNW DLC almost everything weird that happen in my game started to be more obvious with the BNW DLC.
  3. Sid Meier's Civilization Discussion

My first Civilization game was Civilization for DOS back in the 90's and since then Sid Meier's Civilization is one of my favorite strategy game series, which include Total War Game Series by Creative Assembly and The Settlers (up to Settler 4 even if Settler 3 is my absolute favorite) by BlueByte. I wonder if there is anyone here who play Civilization games than me or perhaps I am a lonely Civ player. A few months ago I started to use mods in Civ5 and today I launched the Civ5 SDK in Steam and installed the required programs (MS Visual Studio 2010 Shell (Isolated) to mention one that's absolutely required. I took a quick look inside of what's called the Civ5 ModBuddy and after a while I thought no way I'm not being able to create mod by myself, because I'm not a programmer and the linked tutorials, guides doesn't work with Pale Moon so I need to use IE which I don't like much.
  4. Sid Meier's Civilization Discussion

They actually improve it and what I'm talking about is the DirectX option, now via a drop down menu. Also, the old launcher looked old and perhaps a bit boring too. The original laucnher had two separate options e.g DirectX 9, DirectX 10/11 and sometimes it's easy to click on the wrong one.
  5. Sid Meier's Civilization Discussion

You have Civ5? Do you also have the Brave New World (BNW) DLC?
  6. Total War Games Discussion

Now has CA included three games into a Total War Definitive Edition.

Are you gonna to be part of the survey?
  10. Tamriel Rebuilt - The largest mod for Morrowind

@Schtearn If I were you I would ignore what Google says about the SSL protocol. Only your AV and the most restricted security settings you have enabled will probably prevent something bad happen.
  11. Recently was Tamriel Rebuilt updated to 1.5 and they have a YouTube video channel too. Enjoy! If you haven't played this incredible mod before then you oughta try it and I can promise you won't be disappointed.
  12. The most Restless Night of Sleep Ever!

You can say that again. I am too in the same situation as you are. If Anda can reproduce it that is.
  13. Tamriel Rebuilt - The largest mod for Morrowind

In mid September another version of Tamriel Rebuilt was released. https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/42145
  14. Feedback thread

Feel free to rename the topic or merge it with other active threads. I notice that members total posts are not shown in the pop up profile when having the mouse on their usernames in both posts and in the online line in the bottom. There is also a minor request to change the text colour for registered members from red to to let say yellow or perhaps to something that fits the mobile theme a little better than yellow.
  15. Feedback thread

I see. That explains it why I got the error message.
  16. Feedback thread

TAL was down for a while, I dunno for how long though. What happen?
  17. Bethesda.net Discussion

Now, you know why both Arthmoor and I hates NodeBB.
  18. Random Stuffz

FYI For the last 12 hours or so Steam Workshop had a 0 Mb bug, which affected a lot of games. https://steamcommunity.com/app/4000/discussions/1/492379439688258488/
  19. Bethesda.net Discussion

I'm not surprised at all that you got that error and let me tell you that when I update the Skyrim Map Markers mod to the 1.9 version on Bethesda.net I'll probably never return there. Except for a bug report or two.
  20. [RELz] Oblivion XP

I never had issues with a 1920x1080 monitor when playing Oblivion XP, perhaps it's the video card that's causing that. Thanks for the update, Anda.
  21. Bethesda.net Discussion

You do need to use the Bethesda.net launcher before uploading a mod to Bethesda.net and the reason for that is at least what I think it is. Is that your Steam account is linked to your registered account at Bethesda.net, which all registered members must have in order to download and install mods via the in-game mod manager and those who are playing Skyrim on the console cannot use mods from Bethesda.net without linking a valid Steam account to the account one have on Bethesda.net.
  22. Bethesda.net Discussion

I agree with Arthmoor, I too find the Bethesda.net Launcher convenient when using the CK as I don't have to run the Bethesda.net Launcher every time I want to open a mod in the CK in comparison to the CK for SLE.
  23. Bethesda.net Discussion

Agreed. Which makes me really sad, because when I visit the old forum just to read a thread or two all good memories I got from there for the last 7 years comes back to me and I miss the old forum very much. And that is really depressing.
  24. Collecting useful information from Bethesda's old forum

I know about leaving the old forum in the read-only mode, but as I recall it Gstaff mention that the forum will be accessible for another two years after they closed the forum. Sadly, no I haven't.
  25. Most people know that Bethesda are soon going to close their old forum, because the 17th of April is when IPS 3 officialy ends and they launched Bethesda.net 2015. There is also a lot of useful information posted there in which Yacoby had preserved a lot of stuff in the past via his ES Forum Archive site. Unfortunely, it seems Yacoby has abandoned the ES Forum Archive site and I tried to load the site the other day, but Firefox warned me about it isn't safe to browse and I didn't want to jeopardise my security. So that's why I start this thread just to collection useful posts from Bethesda's old forum. If you find a post(s) that has useful information then post it in this thread or send me a PM with a link to the original post. Bethesda have used IPS 3 for 7 years now and TAL are also using IPS 3 and will continue using IPS. Below is Gluby's huge lists of bugs and patches listed and I repost it just after I started the UMP project July-Aug 2014. Originally posted by Gluby Always include the original poster and a link to the original post above the original post just as I did.
