  1. Potential Error in DLC

Theoretically it's 16 million forms per file, but you'll never be able to practically hit that limit in any file because it would consume so much memory it would be ridiculous.
  2. Potential Error in DLC

Given the fact that Oblivion went past its deadline I'd say it's likely whoever was working on this thing disabled it because they couldn't make it work right. It may have been forgotten later on but time pressure is definitely the most logical reason someone cut it off. I also wouldn't advise ripping it out of the files either. It's doing no harm as-is right now so there's no risk in leaving it alone.
  3. Potential Error in DLC

Typically when Bethesda sets an intentionally out of range quest stage like that it's because they're doing it to easily disable it from running. There may be a problem with the idle animations or it may have been something they were working on but didn't have time to pass through QA. You could test it by setting the stage check to match the actual stage where he's supposed to run that while the player fights the other knights and see what happens.
  4. COVID-19 - What a Mess

I've seen both Outbreak and Contagion and IMO we're nowhere near the danger presented in either of those movies. Not by a long shot. As for the virus being a man-made bioweapon, that's not exactly far fetched. It's know they were experimenting with it to see what made it tick and to see if they could make it more potent. However, if it WAS intended to be a bioweapon, it clearly escaped control before it had been fully engineered for that task. Contrary to what Hollywood wants you to think, not all viral escapes from these kinds of facilities are going to be extinction level events caused by fully complete weaponized materials.
  5. COVID-19 - What a Mess

The fact that the virus originated in China seems like reason enough to pin blame on China for letting it get out of control. It's not "fake news" to point out facts.
  6. My PC Woes

Pretty much every tech channel on Youtube lately has been praising everything in the Gen 3 Ryzen line as both a good value and best performance. Especially true if you go hog wild with either a Ryzen 7 or a Ryzen 9. Gen 3 Ryzen CPUs have been posting as good or better than their Intel counterparts at easily 25-50% lower prices. So IMO there's really no good reason to pay the Intel Tax these days.
  7. My PC Woes

Definitely give AMD Ryzen a serious look. They've got some damn good chips out right now that beat the socks off of Intel for a lot less money than you'd normally spend on an Intel system. Most of the tech reviewers are going gaga over them now.
  8. Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access

I intend to, but my PC needs the attention first and chances are by the time that happens Blades will be out for PC
  9. Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access

I'm still hoping to see this game come to PC since I can't afford to upgrade my phone
  10. COVID-19 - What a Mess

SARS (1 and 2), MERS, COVID-19, and the "Common Cold" are all Coronaviruses. Very contagious among humans and we don't develop lasting immunity to them. So yes, certainly possible they could have been researching a bioweapons application for a particularly nasty strain. It's not so outlandish to think that it could be an escape from the lab. Not all bioweapon escapes need to become The Stand. It also pays to keep in mind that COVID-19 hasn't yet killed anywhere close to the number of people that the bog standard seasonal influenza ourbreaks do each year. So there's an element of false crisis involved here. As for the whole animal kingdom thing, the rumor has it that this came from a bunch of idiots eating bat heads or something and being rather unsanitary about it. Bottom line is, this will pass. You'll probably even catch it and have no idea what you've got because your body will display all of the same symptoms as a seasonal cold. Which means most of the same things we all do to ease our symptoms will work just as well as they always have. The panic being generated from this is overblown.
  11. COVID-19 - What a Mess

Ran into this video last week - has a really good breakdown of what exactly COVID-19 is. Which is a strain of the SARS virus. COVID-19 actually describes the ensuing lung infection. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0A0LyMru3I I've also heard the theory on it being a botched bioweapon release as well, ironically NOT from any of our own US media either. And yes, I know, bioweapons are designed to kill billions. When they're finished. According to this theory, the virus was still being developed using Coronavirus methodology because it works and we humans don't develop immunities to them easily. As far as where it actually came from, the only thing anyone seems to agree on is that it's from the Wuhan region of China.
  12. COVID-19 - What a Mess

Heh, that's impossible as there is no such thing Local media in the area where you (the general you) live may be less problematic, but they're all still beholden to their ratings systems and a crisis makes for good ratings. So they're going to keep it alive for as long as they can. Also, I know this may sound paranoid or something, but watch what your governments are doing behind the scenes while everyone's attention is on the virus. This is when they like to sneak in crap we'd normally jump on them for in the open.
  13. COVID-19 - What a Mess

Even people who live in the middle of nowhere are affected The State of Utah closed all public schools statewide for 14 days (beyond the expected spring break that's already coming), all restaurants and bars are closed except for delivery options, pretty much every major event that had been planned has been canceled, and there's even several counties that are enforcing travel restrictions in and out of other nearby counties. When they said "May you live in interesting times" I doubt this is what anyone had in mind.
  14. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

I don't see why an answer of some kind wouldn't be possible. Cartogriffi would be the one to forward the question through and he's easily accessible on the official forum or on some modding servers on Discord.
  15. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

You might just be surprised how easy it is to get a response from them.
  16. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

Leo, dude, you need to chill out.
  17. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

You made no offers to me of any kind on Nexus about anything to do with Morrowind mods. I don't know where you're getting that from. Aside from a token role here as something of a consultant, I've not done any modding in Morrowind since around 2003 or so. I was also never a part of any of the original UMP projects. So no, I never had any dealings with Thepal. As for the "troll and thief" stuff, you know full well what those posts in GMAD were referring to and they're entirely irrelevant to this thread and this project so I don't see any useful purpose in you bringing that up.
  18. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

Would be rather ironic if a "patch for purists" turned out to be one that's doing far more than just fixing bugs. As for the "USKP" style, I think Leo already covered it pretty well. We fix bugs, and they're all very well documented. Though we aren't a separate team from Kivan. He was actively part of that project until he disappeared midway through 2012. We simply continued on with it after he left, and provided it more organizational structure than it had in the past. Regarding someone taking over the UMP if AndalayBay steps aside, I'm sure our team would probably be happy to pick things up and maintain them once it got to that point, but nothing has been discussed on that front yet.
  19. [WIPz] Unofficial Morrowind Patch

    What's "PfP" referencing?
  20. Tweak Guides has Moved On

A lot of the Oblivion ones either did nothing or were placebo effects. The OBSE team examined them all in detail and reported on the handful that actually did work. Most of the rest were never even read by the engine and many that were weren't acted on after that. The reason people didn't get into this sort of ini hacking for Skyrim and FO4 isn't so much because of conversion to 64 bit, it's because by that point people knew those tweaks did nothing.
  21. Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access

Shelter was the only one I've played that was worth the bother, and then it showed up on PC so I haven't played it on the phone since
  22. Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access

It's been mentioned before. They haven't given any kind of a hard date though. If it never comes to PC then I guess I won't be playing it cause I'm not spending a bunch of money on a new phone for the sake of one game.
  23. Elder Scrolls: Blades Early Access

Sounds like a pretty big overhaul. I'll still have to wait for it to hit PC though since my phone can't run it.
