You seem confused about what the 'development' files are for. All files in a development directory were used for that purpose and that purpose only, they have never been intended for end users. I also don't understand what you mean by the query "Can they be developed as such?" This stuff has already been dealt with. These files exist only as a snapshot of various bits of development of v1.73 that I haven't got around to pruning. The variations files were intended by Haama as a possible alternative loot set which was never fully developed at least in part because he never got any feedback on them from anyone other than Corepc and myself. At this stage, they would probably provide wildly incorrect results due to the fact he repurposed large swatches of the internal library lists while developing v1.73. They should be removed along with all the 'development' files

Oh, bugger, my mistake. I suppose I'd better get that fixed asap.

Right, as no one else has piped up claiming to have fixed anything/rewritten Cobl from the ground up/created an apple pie from scratch, I'll set about adding in the new credits as above. My personal thank you to both of you.

Okay, just to keep people in the loop, I'm installing Oblivion as I type. I think I still have a copy of my "development" data folder, so I should be good after that. I was kind of expecting a zip of the files that have been changed, as opposed to what's essentially a release file; it would make sense for me to check the changes in TES4Edit before uploading the file in an "official" location, but I'm not sure which files have been changed. Also, who exactly am I crediting for what? The credits don't need to be super-detailed, "miscellaneous fixes" may be what gets credited in the release notes, but I'd kind of like to have a little more idea myself.

I haven't tried anything with anything; as stated above, I have nothing TESIV-related installed at present. Besides, I've never used OOO or FCOM for anything other than masters for II, so in terms of "testing it", that was never going to happen on my part. All I did was try to clean up as much of the mess as possible that was left after someone else's grand changes. I believe I managed to fix most or all of the lists and stuff like that, but nothing else.

Hmm, hmm, hmm. To cut to the chase, would you be willing to pass me the updated files in a 7z or something and I can get them uploaded in a new "official" version asap? Credit will be given, of course. What update is required on the Cobl readme?

Yep, the main Bethsoft forums are the only ones I monitor for PMs and about the only reliable means of contacting me. Thank you for doing so. Realistically, I think it would probably be best at this point if the baton were passed on. Fixing the scripts for the patches doesn't take long, assuming you have all the necessary bits and bobs installed, which I do not, and have not for a long time. Who exactly is wanting/willing to take over curation-duties at this point, and what are they planning to do beyond fixing the malfunctioning scripts?

File Name: Cobl File Submitter: Vacuity File Submitted: 24 Jun 2014 File Category: Miscellaneous Welcome to Cobl (Common Oblivion)! If you downloaded Cobl for itself, then you'll find that it significantly enriches the world of Oblivion: new races, new books, new ingredients, new foods, etc. There are no quests, but you'll find the world a better and more interesting place in many small and large ways. If on the other hand, you downloaded Cobl because some other mod required you do to so, then... You'll still find the world a more interesting place! But you'll also get the benefit of having multiple mods work better together, and be richer, more powerful mods in themselves. Click here to download this file
