      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

      I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

  1. Custom Creature from Morrowind Format to Oblivion, (invisible?)

    I do have the Civ4 Plugins, Specifically why I use 3ds max 8 for the Animation! I use Photoshop 2018 with the Intel Texture Works plug-in.
  2. I’ve been having a issue for that past 3 days I’m about ready to give up! I was trying to convert the “Vermai” creature from TR into Oblivion. I’m follow this Tutorial that specifically deals with “Porting” creatures from Morrowind to Oblivion. I follow it copied everything precisely about 20 times now. Even read up on other Animation tutorials The Animations, Skeleton and Body all seem to Export without issue. But once I’m in the Construction Set, The Body is invisible! It can’t be the textures I exported those with the correct format with the Normals. I have 3ds max 2016 and 3ds max 8, I was using 3ds max 8 for the Animations and max 2016 for the body and skeleton parts.

    I’ve Merged High Rock into Hammerfells Worldspace via xEdit Scripts that ponyrider0 made for TWMP Morroblivion. Its Official that High Rock and Hammerfell will be in the Same Worldspace! I also have High Rock Completely Generated! with some More Region Specific edits coming to Hammerfells part of the map! At this point it might as well be called Daggerfall p.s here’s the Map Overview, I finally got it generated thxs to @AndalayBay tutorial!
  10. Wow it’s been 3yrs I’m still in need of Custom icons, I had a look at the Map Marker Overhaul. There is a way to edit the scripts and the .ini files to specify which icons need to be changed to what. I personally can’t really edit them, I’m not much of a “scripter”

    1. It would of Required. Skyblivion with All it’s Requirements and The Original Elsweyr Mod, The conversation would Happen during the installation and it’ll check for the Requirements. If the requirements were not met then installation would Halt. 2. Possibly depends on what happens with Skyblivion, Also depends if I can code the Utilities into a “user friendly” GUI Actually the Tools exist and work! I never documented, How I’ve succeeded in the conversion of Major Mods like Elsweyr. Although I did document how to Convert meshes into SkyrimSE The converter programs resolve alot of issues, There’s actually almost no cleaning up I couldn’t agree more! That’s why I stopped modding for Skyrim and went back to Oblivion.

      People have moved on. Even Skyrim is old now. Sifonseal said he would be back, but I guess he’s just too busy these days.

      Elsweyr Pelletine is still ongoing. I'm busy with RL and finishing a Fallout 4 mod is higher priority for me.

      But regardless, I'm really close to finishing the actual province, locations wise, and see what I can do with the quests.

      Nice!  Now you have to wait for HDR content.  SDR content HDR'ified supposedly looks like shit.  Can you confirm?  What res is your monitor?  HD? QHD? UHD?

      $35 a month, eh?  If I decided to pay for a service, I would need some serious research into other/all options.  So far I've stuck with good ol' free in my pursuit to learn Python.  I've been slacking on my practice though.  I'll learn some concepts (like string methods) and then forget them because I don't practice enough using them.  There's so much info.  Luckily I read that even pros Google from time to time, cuz I don't see that requirement ever going away for me.

      Oh, absolutely. Just focus on the mechanics and look up the syntax. I bookmark the official documentation and refer to that when needed.

  22. How do I go about Adding Dialogue to Custom Guards, So they arrest you whenever a crime is committed... I tried the Filtered Dialogue but that doesn't seem to work at all, I already have all the Guards Setup with AI Packages.

    Introducing a New Texture for Goldmoor! As you can see by the Graph it was Difficult.... Very Time Consuming.... Still not entirely done still have to fix up some coloring and placement, but it's a sneak peak on what's coming. Edit: It's a True 2K Texture since it's still being edited I can downscale it and upscale it without Lose of Quality, This Texture is being rendered at 2K

    I fixed up the Guards so now they work for the most part, I even went around and started adding Schedules to half of Wayport and it's looking awesome. I may even have a Gif to post of a Orc Failing to cast a spell and parlaying himself but he also summons a Skeleton in the process.
