  1. Yea there are still a lot of MERP meshes I have yet to have a look at, great suggestion ^^. If I recall didn't members of MERP team at one point release their assets as a resource? (Or at least a large amount of them such as the Moria tileset) Also thanks for the feedback on the screenshots Nex, just a few more districts to go before I can begin on interiors, then I will move onto finishing up the surrounding farmlands and nearby towns. The idea is to make the kingdom of Daggerfall so packed full of content that if enough quests were scripted it could be the scene for an entire RPG game much like Neverwinter Nights (And to some extent Baldur's Gate) where much of the games happen within a single major city or around it. Daggerfall city is not just a place to come sell your goods or come pick up new quests, its many dark corners and ancient passageways hold many secrets and many more dangers. Built into the city itself will be a mast variety and number of dungeons, some districts will even be dangerous to visit at night due to the less friendly sort of night-time prowlers. Also here are two more shots of the same district as before, show the view a bit further up the river and the view from within the slums:
  2. Hmmm actually another very good question. The Adamantine Tower along with Wayrest to its east are both being developed by Amoebaman. I am not sure if he has a design direction in mind for it as of yet. I guess we will get back to you on that one ^^.

Another few shots have been uploaded, this time we are swinging back to another lower class district, well not exactly, this district has its denizens divided by a river that flows through it, slums have invaded the northern side, the other side has some of the oldest common dwellings in Daggerfall city, naturally this is another of my favourites areas in the city.
  4. With you and Gep around I don't think I'll ever have to worry about searching for resources ^^. I had thought we had everything we needed for High Rock, but Gep has since shown me that there is much more out there in obscure corners that I have never tread in (And I had previously considered my knowledge of obscure mods quite comprehensive...). I think for the time being some additional structures for the various castles of various designs that should dot the many hills of the province would be nice, and I believe Amoebaman (My partner on this project) is in need of some assets for Orsinium (Both for the current city of the Orsimer and for the ruins of its previous incarnations), even meshes that could possibly be retextured to work would be appreciated ^^.

    Haha I look forward to walking through the deserts of Hammerfell drowning in irrational completely baseless terror ^^.

And... updated with shots from another district, samples as always ^^ There are many places of beauty to take refuge from the squalor of the grand city From almost every corner of the city the palace is within view, towering high above and reachable to all, symbolic of the Breton meritocratic ways.
  8. FOMO World Map v0.73

    This one is a fairly nice update, (well it is for me at least ^^) it comes with many of the roads of the Ubanga continent as well as the addition of a more detailed Dibella's Watch and last but not least it also features the current state of the great city of Daggerfall as it will be seen in FOMO High Rock. This version show how truely amazing Alimal's Ubanga is, it is massive and filled with details and places, currently most the cities are still not named and many areas are also not named, the clean up of this Ubanga map is still very much a work in progress. As you can see it is actually geographically larger than the Imperial City, and given how the city is also more densely packed together than the IC it is vastly larger than the vanilla IC, however the mod isn't aiming to build a Daggerfall relative to the vanilla IC but to heavily modded ICs, with all the IC's underground districts I imagine it should still be larger even if only slightly, lorewise Daggerfall, Almalexia and Sentinel are meant to rival the IC so it only seemed fitting that the FOMO High Rock Daggerfall be truly grand.     Updated to the most recently uploaded version. I am running OBGE with some configuration changes (I really have been meaning to switch to Alenet's amazing OR, still haven't gotten around to it due to modding mods more than my own install), but no ENB or such is being used ^^. If you haven't already be sure to follow the link to 40+ more screenshots over at DeviantArt, I would of course upload the 100+ shots I eventually plan to upload of Daggerfall's many districts to the High Rock Gallery here at TAL but that too is my partners job ^^", I am sure they will get around to it soon, busy times for us all. I really want to know if the districts give enough of a Breton impression. Naturally each of the cities in the province will have their own depiction of Breton culture, Daggerfall being the most aged, rough and unkempt of them all as it is constantly dealing with its thriving underworld and the over populated masses of its destitute lower class. Here are a few shots form one of the lower class districts, mind you this district is still very WIP: Edit: I also updated my FOMO Nirn Map, along with the main roads of Ubanga and Dibella's Watch you can now see Daggerfall right there on the map, and get an idea for how truly huge the city really is ^^!

    Great stuff ^^. Have you considers making a creature that looks like those tumbleweeds? It would certainly add a new layer of interest every time you look at one to know that it might be out to get you, even if they are extremely weak or passive even, it would still be fun ^^.

Like I said in my previous post, I already have a Watering Can in mind to use (I linked it above), I was hoping to have an animation made for it, late last week I asked DKZZ2 (A very skilled animator who have worked on smooth animations for Oblivion before) if they could lend a hand, while he has not made anything in a long time he was willing to help out and produced this a very neat little animation, I was just about to test it out when I saw these posts, hopefully all will go well ^^. Regardless, as always I really appreciate the search assistance guys ^^.

  15. I know Snus has a Wartering Can Resource (Which also comes with the added bonus of being an equip-able weapon already), which is what I planned to use. But without an animation it just doesn't feel as immersive as I should like it to >.<. Well for now I suppose adding a sound would make a world of difference. Oh and I just realised I forgot to mention before, thanks again for reorganising those project groups Visceral ^^.
  16. FOMO Imperial Isles - Heart Of The Empire

    I had actually considered adding Imperial City Suburbs as well but decided not to because the Imperial Isles region is already extremely resource intensive, I haven't tried it yet so I can't say for sure but perticularly around the Weye/Talos Bridge areas adding this mod in as well might cause some serious crashage. However I will give it a try and if it isn't too bad I will be sure to see if Lady Olivia would approve of her mod's inclusion ^^.
  17. I have seen your resource storms before so I know just how resourceful you can be ^^. Alas, for now I don't think I am currently looking for anything that exists... unless there actually exists an animation for using a watering can? (I would really love one for ObliviLife's farming features) Animation is a realm I have yet to touch myself, so I really do hope there is someone out there who is able and willing to help with this. Naturally I will be sure to let you know if I am looking for anything else in the future ^^.
