  1. [IDEA] Weather Protected Clothing

Actually, I had never played Morrowind until after Oblivion had been out for a few years. 2009 'ish was my first play test of Morrowind. The combat sucks in vanilla Morrowind, so I prefer to play Morroblivion.
  2. [IDEA] Weather Protected Clothing

I'm currently playing through a Morroblivion session (never finished Morrowind, and OpenMW is taking too long), so don't have a Oblivion save--you'll have to do all testing. I'll get something out to you this weekend.
  3. I wonder if he frequents the forums?
  4. [IDEA] Weather Protected Clothing

There was a Wet and Cold for SLE that I'm aware of. SSE's version came out later. If you need help with the scripting, Leo just give me a shout here. I'll be able to help out.
  5. [IDEA] Weather Protected Clothing

It could be done, sure. You would have to learn to script to accomplish it.
  6. I consider that a core issue for LOOT, if it's true. Identical timestamps can probably cause all sorts of weirdness. And setting the timestamps is the #1 point behind LOOT, so the author needs to fix that. Leo, you ought to post over at AFK, let WN know.
  7. What I'm hearing is LOOTs masterlist for Oblivion could use some work.
  8. Conflict between OCO2 and GM's Races Redone

I'm not familiar with GM's Races Rebalanced so I can't help with tags, but check the records in TES4Edit. OCOv2 could use some of the race records like mouth and ears. Then just load the races mod later and you should be good to go. Build the Patch, of course.
  9. Oblivion - Steam version

I understand, I guess. It comes to a point that one just wants to play modded Oblivion, not hassle with the installation of mods and getting them working... I have an all-encompassing handle on Oblivion though--it can never defeat me.
  10. Oblivion - Steam version

    Got frustrated, eh Leo?
  11. Oblivion - Steam version

Yes, all features of OR can be disabled. But it's up to. There's nothing saying you have to like it or use it. AoG == Amulet of Greed, I believe. A mod written by a pretty crack scripter. I was in touch with him back in the days of his prime. If you don't want all the features of AoG, many have been broken down into standalone mods. search "lubronbrons" (the author) on Nexus.
  12. Oblivion - Steam version

I like BUM. It's only needed if you really fire up that userlist. I do, so I like the tool. Also, consider Oblivion Reloaded. It has it's fair share of haters, but for certain things, there's no other place you can turn to to find it. The memory management feature and custom effects system is my main reason for keeping it in my LO. A lot of the features are buggy. It's still being developed, however, and there will be a new (supposedly) properly implemented shadows system soon.
  13. Oblivion - Steam version

You can deactivate them all day every day. Deleting them is another story. If you verify integrity and they are deleted or moved (or whatever) then Steam will redownload them.
  14. messed map(missing both textures and messes)

There you have it, then; coming straight from Maskar. You're going to have to live with it. Other dungeons may not have the same problem. In the brief time I explored those extensions, I never had a single issue. @Leonardo No. I wouldn't say creating a mod to "spice up" the dungeons additions added by MOO would be a waste. I'd never call most mods a waste in general (though there is an exception or two).
  15. Oblivion Crash on Load

Good call, Leo. The Tweakguides site is solid except for the memory and threading stuff. Check it out, Terrorix. The author points out the questionable tweaks.
  16. messed map(missing both textures and messes)

Yes, Maskar's Oblivion Overhaul adds random dungeons and extensions to existing dungeons. The problem is with MOO and MOO alone. Post in his Nexus page about what you are experiencing--he always responds promptly. Maskar has seen this problem before. Check his FAQ there as well. Your installation order and load order is fine. BOSS and the guide here won't steer you wrong. Also, the dungeons added by MOO are random and not essential to any quests. You can disable them in the INI. I always do. I rarely even find loot in the extensions. A waste, IMHO.
  17. Oblivion Crash on Load

Yeah, it's an old site. That's all I can do for you.
  18. messed map(missing both textures and messes)

Could be a conflict. Try on just a vanilla game and see what happens.
  19. Oblivion Crash on Load

Try here. It's the most extensive list I've been able to find.
  20. Oblivion Crash on Load

It has to do with the number of dead NPCs allowed to stay in-game. The more allowed, the more of a hit to the CPU and memory. Raising the number can reduce performance, lowering the number can increase performance. I leave it at default. In all my years with Oblivion, I've never seen too much interest in that particular GMST. But experiment, see what's what, knowwhatimean.
  21. Oblivion Crash on Load

It's been tears since I used Revelation, so I don't recall any specifics. Read the readme, particularly the installation section. Also, where did you get Oblivion Reloaded? Get the latest version from here if you haven't already.
  22. Oblivion Crash on Load

Welcome to modded Oblivion. If you wish to continue to mod, you'll have to get some troubleshooting steps in place. Vorians suggestion is where I'd start too. You said you can load a save game from the main menu? But that same save will not load from within the game (i.e. playing)?
  23. EngineBugFixes and multiple worldspace mods

Why can't multiple worldspace mods be run at the same time? I did not know that. However, reading the description posted, it sounds like the fix is more for a CS issue. If in fact multiple worldspace mods can't be run at the same time, I don't think this will fix it.
  24. The most Restless Night of Sleep Ever!

Oh, oh. You're having trouble with a limitation of the system. I sort of figured you wouldn't be stumped by scripting. If you have an extra minute to write something about your woes, I'd read it. No biggie though.
