      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

      I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

  1. I'm actually using the old Curps version of TEC along with alot of other mods by Giskard. played through them a few years back, but never ran them alongside Valenwood Improved. Since he drastically changed things in the mages guild and the imperial city, I'd probably do better just deactivating valenwood until im done with his version of valenwood, then there woudnt be too many problems I suppose. also Andalay Bay, that info u provide will be very useful down the line, thank you.
  2. Very helpful community here, thank you for all of your answers. When I get to that point in my modded game where I have to travel to TEC Arenthia, I will just have to see for myself If both mods can be ran together. Hopefully the two Arenthias wont be on top of each other when I reach that point, and I could just go into tes4edit and rename one to "New Arenthia" or something like that. Unless someone has a detailed description of the incompatibilities between the two mods. Perhaps I could just run one mod and deactivate the other while I playthrough it?
  3. Can The Elder Council mod be ran with Valenwood Improved since the two mods alter the same worldspace? The city added by the elder council mod occupies the same space as valenwood improved. Could this mean that the city might be floating, or underground, or even clipping through something? Has anyone ran these two mods together at the same time and have come across anything strange like the things I mentioned? I did some searching on Nexus and they said you just had to rename Arenthias map marker in either mod to something else using TES4Edit or you will have 2 towns in different areas with the same name. Is this the only issue with the two mods or will I have to fool around with the land magic utility??
  4. TES4LODGEN-Noob needs help

    I think it also modifies the region near silorn if im not mistaken, but like I said its like a large Aylied castle in the sky so it couldnt conflict with too much else. Thnx for the advice, I'll do what you've recommended, Ive already used boss and wrye bash. Just never used TES4LODGEN or TES4LL so I didnt want to screw anything up without getting some opinions 1st.

    So I have an issue....Valenwood Improved isnt compatible with another mod I want to use. the mod is called Theyron and its a floating castle. Theyrons LODs conflict with Valenwood improved LODs because both of them change the same section of the distant landscapes. Is there a patch that integrates Theyrons LODs with Valenwood Improved LODs or is there something I need to do in TES4LODGEN? I've never really used it before so I came here to get an answer. Will that solve my problems or could I do without it and the game runs fine with the conflicting mods??? Whats the worst case scenario if I tried to run the game as is with these two mods loaded??
