      New Theme Set Up   11/14/2017

We have a new theme created by Vincent that's now available to everyone. It has been set as the default theme, so everyone should see it when you refresh the page. If you still aren't seeing it, you can select it from the Theme drop-down at the bottom of the page. It's called Assimilation. Thanks Vincent. Awesome looking theme!

  1. As I announced previously, I'll be doing the site upgrades and various updates over the next week or so. Already Completed apply usual server updates delete unused server software delete abandoned projects delete unused wikis To-Do upgrade forums to 3.4.9. I'll be doing this today or tomorrow. DONE restore The Inn to the main site. I have already restored it to our test site. DONE upgrade Ubuntu (server OS) to 16.04.2. I only run the "LTS" version, which means Long Term Support. acquire and install SSL certificate for site and all sub-domains. upgrade wikis. Also switch to new recaptcha. DONE upgrade forums to 4.x. Then I can get back to modding and playing! So you can expect the forums to go offline for an hour or so later today or tomorrow afternoon. We've got some Real Life stuff to do as well, so I'll get to it as soon as I can.
  2. Being the sneaky bugger I am, I did the usual server upgrades tonight and accepted Linode's upgrade to KVM. Linode recently converted their VPS's to KVM after using XEN for several years. KVM was much faster and offered many improvements over XEN in their tests, so Linode switched. I finally queued up and got TAL migrated to the new VPS software. Next on my list is to do some work on our test server and then upgrade the main site to IPS 3.4.8, including the installation of IP.Connect. Once I'm done my work with the test site, I'll schedule some downtime for the main site upgrade.
  3. Thanks to Visceral Moonlight, we now own IP.Content, or Pages as Invision is now calling it. You can use Pages to gather content from the site into feature pages (hence the name ). But its most useful feature is that it can be used as a full featured forum-based bug tracker. So once I get it all set up, TAL can now offer a forum-based bug tracker for all our hosted projects. The first tracker that we'll be setting up will be for the Unofficial Morrowind Patch. A big thank you to VM for purchasing this for us.
  4. We have a new download category ! This category is for miscellaneous files that don't fit in the others. Some examples are files for syntax highlighting or miscellaneous programs one has written. Enjoy!
  5. New Wiki Landing Page

I have finally created a landing page for our wiki installation. Nothing fancy, but it does list all our wikis.
  6. The home page for the site has been updated! We have new featured projects as well as a list of all our hosted projects. I've also gotten some legal requirements taken care of, as you've no doubt seen. If you're not seeing the new content, please clear your browser's cache.
  7. Creation Kit Offline

Creation Kit Wiki is 522.Temporary? Permanent? What dah!!!
  8. We've just enabled the thread generation for file uploads to help increase visibility of the files. Now, whenever you upload a file a new thread is generated in the forum corresponding to the download category.
  9. [Announcement] Broken Posts

After doing some maintenance, it appears that the forum software did something that broke any post that contains BBCode. In order to fix the posts, you'll need to toggle the RTE by clicking the switch in the top left of the post editing box for the post and click it again. So, you click it twice. Afterwards, you save the post. In some cases, such as if the post contained a list, you'll need to edit the post manually after saving it again to fix up the rest of the formatting. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
