      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

Now that would be something that really couldn't be unseen.

Wibble wobble wibble wobble wibble wobble...

I think we know why certain things were chopped off now...

I liked how your sig's message changed upon every refresh.

Anyway, nice art :alienjump:

It's true!  My sister gave it to me as a birthday present!

Here's the original joke:

Edit:  You will note that the most realistic thing in the entire picture is the blood coming from the heart.  I had priorities.

What does it say about me that I don't find that pic remotely troubling and I had to look at it three times to realise the guy in the background was scared because he's tied up and gagged?

And then I wondered "why did she have to tie him up and gag him, it's just dinner?"

I think it says I'm well adjusted within my environment and community.

Hmm... Ya know, I really like this table.

We should dig up that old Listener furniture that we never used, and put this along with it.

Nope. But it should be. I wonder if we can find that old listener furniture though. I'd like to add them, along with this table.

In terms of Dark Brotherhood related art, I've done a lot of occult and theology studies and the vanilla DB symbolism is packed from ancient Egyptian style hieroglyphs to 15th century sigils so there's a broad spectrum of things to take from. Whoever is doing decorative artwork should look at the voynich manuscrit as well, something I've studied a lot but since it's never been "fully" translated it got me only more confused. However in 2014 Professor Stephen Bax started to decipher some words and images. It's pictures are wild, mostly herbal, alchemical, astrological and weird naked women with tubes. Definitely something to research to add the disturbing ethereal feel so prominent with the DB. I'll link some stuff I feel worth gaining insight from.
