      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

Oblivion Reloaded Compatibility Questions

Recommended Posts

I also visited the official site for the mod and could not find any useful information, it doesn't even tell you what the current version is so no clue whether the file on Nexus is the latest release or not.

Alenet simply has no interest in co-operating with others on his documentation or in altering his mod to accomodate others.

Having said that, he is diligent in his coding and releases, and you can disable any specific feature in OR using the ini.

these are the bits you are interested in:

CombatMode               = 1 - Horse combat and first-person sitting in chairs. Loading a save mounted on a horse with this active seems to cause the game to choke.
CameraMode               = 1 - The full body camera, needs to be disabled to use another camera mod, I can confirm that works.
EquipmentMode            = 1 - Enables the shield on back (even with weapon drawn) and dual wielding mode - has been known to crash the game.
SleepingMode             = 1 - The custom sleeping mode, linked to the sleep settings that can prevent you resting out of a bed (like in Morrowind).

So if you disable the SleepingMode, does that allow instant levelling? It looks like SleepingMode controls a whole bunch of other stuff but it all gets disabled once SleepingMode is disabled.

I got the same impression too.  Which is why I consider OR not to be a successor to the old and now abandoned OBGE, instead I see OR as a gameplay overhaul and NOT a graphics extender to improve graphics in-game.

The CameraMode and SleepingMode are two things that the See You Sleep mod touches.

I assume so, I turn everything but CombatMode off and the game performs as normal. I use Enhanced Camera instead of OR's Camera Mode because it uses the First Person arms, which prevent clipping through things, and that mod works fine.

It sounds to me like if you want to use OblivionXP you have to use See You Sleep instead of OR's Sleeping Mode.

Well it's both, isn't it?

Well I don't know about the version Leo linked, but the DLL version of See You Sleep works fine.

The version I linked to is the one I use and that works with Oblivion XP just fine.

EDIT:  I read the permission of the DLL version and LogicDragon is generous about allowing the mod to be redistribute provided to credit both authors.

This topic was split off from the original topic about not playing Knights of the Nine. The OP asked about Oblivion Reloaded's compatibility with other mods.

Re. Oblivion Reloaded: It will break Oblivion XP though, so you'll need to remove Ob XP if you want to use it. There are some ini settings with regard to levelling and sleeping that you can try disabling, but you might have to ask on the OR forums what those are. If you find them and disable them, then Ob XP should work. If you do get it working, I'd love to know what the ini settings are and I will include that info the Ob XP documentation.

So,even with its latest update( OB 6.5.0) it is still incompatible with Oblivion XP?
