      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

How to give an NPC dialogue and how to make them act as(the dialogue) command for a companion based NPC

Recommended Posts

So I made a companion dialogue that sorta works I can get my companions to follow me with a script I copied from another characters dialogue. I even put in a wait script in a new dialogue and the NPCs seem to be having trouble in corporating the dialogues. They have trouble interpreting the dialogues themselves. I wanted to know if you could shed some light on this for me it's a big problem. Jac doesn''t get into companion scripts or options for them at all during the dialogue. Thanks though I made it one step further because of you Leonardo. I know now that I need to make the greeting for the topic so that me the player can see the topic on the NPC.

Have you looked at the Morrowind Modding Wiki? Click on the Wikis link at the top of the forums and then click on the Morrowind Modding Wiki link in the list.

I think you need to read Grumpy's modding tutorials.

http://lovkullen.net/Emma/grumpy.htm (scroll down a little to find his companion tutorial versions)

There is also a Mod Maker's Manual.

Did you check the wiki as I suggested above? It has several modding guides, not just the one Leo linked. I also uploaded some guides to Downloads - Morrowind - Miscellaneous, I believe.
