      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

Having said that, I think they did a good job with Kate Mulgrew doing Janeway.

Actually they didn't had to, because Kate Mulgrew was not the first actor who was contracted for the Captain Janeway role and this video show you why Kate Mulgrew was a better actor.

Yeah I’d heard about that before. We have the series on Blu-ray and I think they talked about it a bit in the special features at the end.

Thread cleaned up. Now back to the topic at hand:

If you are a Star Trek fan like myself then perhaps the Star Trek Timelines game is for you and right now it's free to play it on Steam.

Unfortutely, the DLC are not free and with a GUI that are not user friendly I doubt anyone wants to buy the DLC at least I won't buy the DLC.

I try it for a while maybe 10-15 minutes before I quit the game.

I finally took a look and it's too bad the story isn't better. I was bemused to note that even people who liked the game did so because of its silliness. They also thought the story was terrible.

Who cares? :P

If you are a real Star Trek fan then this one doesn't care how bad the story is as long it doesn't destroy the game.

In this case a story, any story, is relevant as long it stick to what people thinks is genuine to Gene Roddenbarry's legacy of Star Trek.
