      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

Making every sigil stone I get Trascendent

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hello everyone,
been a while since I was there.

I'm planning to make every sigil stone I get to be of "Trascendent" status. Would this .esp be enough to make it happen?

Some notes:
1) Is there any way I can see if an .esp contains scripts in addition of mere leveled lists change?
2) Is it ok the LVLF - Flags have no "Calculate for each item in count" nor "Calculate from all levels"?
3) The Leveled list entries on the .edited .esp are right in the middle of the others. Am I supposed to move it on top? If the answer is yes, how am I supposed to do it?

I moved your post, and several others, to the proper forum. That other forum is for tutorials, not modding questions.

To answer your question, I believe you have to set the flags for the levelled list to work. I think there is some information on this in the CS wiki: https://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php?title=Main_Page I’m pretty sure there’s a tutorial on creating a levelled list. In terms of scripts, they are in their own section so if the plugin has any scripts, you would see them in the list of items in the left pane in TES4Edit.

You do not need to use either flag in a leveled list, the flags are optional. As your list will have only a single entry guaranteed to be found, there's no point in using either flag.

It does not matter that TES4Edit is displaying your one entry lower than the first listed entry in Oblivion.esm.

Thanks to you both :)

@vorians: do the flags slow down or compromise the .esp in any way? I wonder how oblivion reacts to these flags when there is only one item

No, don't worry about the flags. All they do is tell the game engine how to read the leveled list. For your leveled list with only a single entry, it would make no difference whether the flags are both enabled, whether either one is enabled, or whether both are enabled, the end result would be exactly the same. They'd only make a difference if you added additional entries to your leveled list.
