      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

Leo, how can you like Judas Priest and ABBA at the same time?:lol:

Let say it reflects my youth quite a bit.  I grew up with ABBA and as a teenager then a lot heavier and cooler stuff become more interesting. :D

Same here actually! I wasn't allowed to listen to rock, so I grew up with ABBA and other boring shit. Met Jimi, discovered Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and the rest is history. :D

You know when we thinking about it we were actually too restricted by our parents back then.

Perhaps this would be enough for a nostalgic forum for people to share their nostalgic memories of the golden old days.

I often listen to Sabaton on YouTube and sometimes I also watch the interviews with the band.

Anyway, in the Welcome To The D interview the lead singer Joakim Brodén got a question about what metal bands there is in Scandinavia and/or in Sweden in particular.  He surprisingly mention Battle Beast from Finland.

Hey folks. It's still the middle of a really busy time and I won't be around to say this at the appropriate time due to work, so have this.
