      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

My sister's sweet orange kitty Kew (pronounced Q and yes, he's named after Star Trek's Q) passed this week due to cancer.

So let's pour out a Romulan Ale for the freckled-nosed King of "If I fits, I sits."

Recently I needed to get some pictures of our cats and kittens and I think I finally found somebody who hates having her picture taken even more than I do.

Clearly I wasn't getting the message, so she made herself clearer:

Isn't that awesome?! For the record, no, she did not rip my head off. But I did not get any good shots after that. We even put her in the super duper cat tree. Nope. Fuck you. :lmao:

He was the most love-filled ginger freckle-nose.

I've been crying a lot.

Just seen this - I'm so sorry Ama.  He looks like a lovely cat.

Thank you!  He might have technically been my sister's, but I was his favorite.  (Because I didn't have any of those loud, small humans that he detested.)

I get asked all the time how British Shorthairs are with kids. They’re good with kids, probably because they are big strong cats. They are also calm.

Speaking of the small humans, Zita  has decided that having the new human kitten is okay, because she comes with things to sit on.

From six years prior, Sokka and my first niece had an argument about their beds:
