      Orphan Attachments   07/31/2018

I have been doing some housekeeping lately and I've noticed that I had a lot of orphaned attachments. Attachments get orphaned when the PM or post is deleted without removing the attachment first. Deleting a PM or post does not delete the attachment and the file or image remain on the server. I'd like to ask all members to go through their attachments and delete any attachments you don't need anymore or those that have been orphaned. Where can I get a list of my attachments? Click on your display name in the upper right corner of the forums and pick "My Attachments" from the drop-down list. How can I tell an attachment is orphaned? If the PM has been deleted, you'll see a message like this in your attachment list: Unfortunately there is no message if the post has been deleted, so please check your old posts. We do purge old birthday threads every once in a while. Also some hosted projects have been shut down, so you may have orphaned attachments on one of those locations. Thanks!

You had no childhood?

Or just no channel four reception?

When I was the age Sesame Street is aimed at, I was more interested in playing outside and playing with toys like Lego and Playmobil rather than sitting dully in front of a tv (like I do more of now).

The way I see it, I had more of a childhood than any who just watched tv when they were under ten years old.

People did this before the children of ~2000?

I was only born in 1996 and I don't know anyone my age who spent their childhood watching TV. Bikes were a big thing when I was 5-10.

As long as tv has existed, there have been parents who encourage their children to watch it as soon as they're capable of focusing on the screen. It's a free nanny, keeping the child occupied so the parent(s) can get on with something else.

I didn't really start watching television until I was around ten or eleven (same age I discovered computers) - that would have been about 1992.

I watched Saturday morning cartoons. I went out to play after that. I don't think Sesame Street even existed when I was a kid. I watched Bugs Bunny, that was my favourite.

When I say "kid", I mean from three to seven years old.

If it makes you feel better, that makes me feel bad enough to let you think you've murdered me for a while, but not enough to go into outright pity territory and insult your dignity with special treatment by not stabbing you in the face.

You're likely to see anything here...

In fact, we've got a cannibal, taciturn reaper, crazed teapot and script spanker...
