      New Theme Set Up   11/14/2017

We have a new theme created by Vincent that's now available to everyone. It has been set as the default theme, so everyone should see it when you refresh the page. If you still aren't seeing it, you can select it from the Theme drop-down at the bottom of the page. It's called Assimilation. Thanks Vincent. Awesome looking theme!

Cool videos. :D

I've already seen the first one and I assume that video is the original video from the original author before the mod were abandoned.  Correct?

I'm curious about how much content from the original mod is included in your project except for bugs and about how much content is gonna be added by you once the mod is finished. :)

To begin with, it's a straightforward completion job. But some of that will require cluttering, which necessitates the addition of new assets.Do you know of any good tribal armor or bone clutter mods?

I see.  I thought you had to change some things just to make it stable (to get rid of the bugs as many as possible).

What kind of armor are you looking for (dark or light colored)?  Is it similar to what armor there is in Iliana's Elsweyr mod?

It's supposed to be light-coloured and suited for hot tropical weather. So yeah, similar.

Also, since all the quests have to be done from scratch, I'm adding more gameplay choices than the one in the trailer. I guess I got way too spoiled from Fallout :P

I promised that I'd pass along resources I found that may be of interest. Here you guys go:http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/18586http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/34721http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/32272http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/25826http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/37721http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/23177If you want, I can transfer these to another thread. Just let me know. Also, if you want anything, just say what you're looking for and I can see what I can find. I'm going to be going through a lot of resources as I fix up the Oblivion resource list. :)

I've just watched these for the first time and felt the videos did a really good job of promoting the mod.

Thank you :)

Some Burmese-style architecture for Torval would be great :D

Yeah, they did. I hope to make some updated videos on the updated mod in the same style :)

Considering we can now have static shadows in Oblivion paired with a good ENB/OBGE settings could give Skyrim a run for it's money :P

Yeah, I agree :P

Though Oblivion still doesn't have any snowstorms for harsher lands :(

Edit: By the way, we would want this mod to be ported over to Skyrim once the Oblivion version is done, if it's possible. I would love to make a 4E Valenwood Islands :P

It can be ported, however a big part of Valenwood is flora, and we all know how bad Skyrim is in this part after dropping SpeedTree. So unless you can get a good looking flora in Skyrim somehow/somewhere...

I would definitely be able to find solid jungle replacements :)

The flora wouldn't work anyway because most of them were just retextures of vanilla Oblivion trees.

Nice video you got for the Valenwood Island mod.

I also notice that you had a lot of Morrowind inspired dialogues too plus the chest on the bottom just like what you need to do when you rediscover Boethiah's ruined shrine south of Hla Oad.

Thank you :) I felt that the mod needed a video update - the other MQ footage is horribly outdated.Actually, the underwater chest refers to the TR treasure hunt :P

And an Ashlander character isn't complete without mentioning good ol' Morrowind, right? :D
